I checked the logs and the system logged crashes as a Kernel-power event, indicating an unexpected power loss that points to the power supply unit. Regardless, I replaced my RAM with Corsair Dominator Platinum RGB 32GB (4x8GB) DDR4 3200, mainly because it was something I’d been wanting but hesitated about. I’m puzzled by how a specific cutscene in one game could trigger the power supply failure. I confirmed the game files and still experienced crashes. After uninstalling the game, deleting all its files, and reinstalling it, the issue persisted. It’s consistent and easy to reproduce, which is really upsetting. I’ll keep monitoring the power supply; if it continues, I might need to swap it out.

I believe the problem is likely with the power supply unit. I noticed my graphics card flickering a light near the power cord while gaming, which keeps turning off. Checking the card details showed the light means it’s getting insufficient power. I’ve ordered a replacement PSU and plan to install it to test if the issue resolves. Good luck!

I put in a fresh power supply right away and the problem disappeared. I performed multiple stress tests with 3DMark and played a long gaming session where several parts that previously crashed stopped working. It looks like your guess was right—it was the power supply that caused the issue.
