Hello, Your laptop keeps restarting unexpectedly without a clear pattern. It forces a full shutdown, giving you just a minute to finish your work before it restarts again, which is quite frustrating. An update to Windows 11 didn’t resolve the issue. Checking the Event Viewer revealed several instances of this: The process C:\WINDOWS\system32\shutdown.exe (DESKTOP-001L3N7) initiated a reboot for userNT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM due to hardware maintenance (planned). Reason: Hardware: Maintenance (Planned), Code: 0x80010001, Shutdown Type: Reboot. Also noted before this event there was something related. A service was installed—VSSrv at C:\WINDOWS\system32\VSSrv.exe, User Mode, Demand Start, LocalSystem account. No tasks appear planned in Task View. Anyone have suggestions? Thanks.
