Your computer shuts down unexpectedly with the power button flashing, though the motherboard remains lit. It restarts normally afterward and no fault indicators appear. Maintenance checks didn’t reveal any issues. This occurs more frequently during gaming sessions. Specifications include an AMD Ryzen 5 5600 at 3.5 GHz, a 6-core processor, Asus ROG STRIX B550-F motherboard, 16 GB DDR4 memory, a 1 TB NVMe SSD, and a Gigabyte GAMING RTX 3050 graphics card. While playing Valorant it crashed five times but stayed operational for long photo editing or web browsing.

The question is unclear. Could you please clarify what you mean by "temperatures" in the context of playing games? For example, are you asking about the temperature settings on your device or the ambient temperature during gameplay?

I performed various tests during general maintenance checks. Your motherboard's age isn't specified here. This kind of failure might occur due to a depleted CMOS battery, which could last several years. If your board is old enough, the battery issue may be the cause. Also, using a riser cable could potentially lead to boot problems.

I performed auto maintenance on the control panel following the crashes. I also conducted multiple stress tests. My motherboard is just a year old and I don’t use a riser cable. Stress Test Results AMD Ryzen Master: Peak Temp - 63.85 Time - 6 minutes Completed without crash Prime95: Peak Temp - 68.5 Time - 7 hours Completed without crash Blender Open Data Graphics Card: Peak Temp - 54 Benchmark Score - 1548.67

The outcomes seem acceptable. Have you adjusted the clock speed or voltage settings? An overclock or undervoltage may lead to instability and crashes. You might also attempt to reattach cables manually. A loose connection can temporarily keep the system running but eventually degrade, causing issues. Switching to a different power source is another option; sometimes the original outlet has too many devices drawing power, leading to shutdowns when demand rises.
