Device shuts down intermittently, then restores when a USB connection is established.
Hi, I've assembled a brand new PC with all the latest parts. I'm experiencing this odd problem where my Bluetooth mouse and keyboard freeze unexpectedly. However, everything works again once I connect any USB device. This makes it hard to determine if the issue is related to Bluetooth or something else, since plugging in a USB mouse always resolves the problem. The same goes for USB Thumb drives, Logi Unifying dongle, and other USB peripherals. The problem mostly appears when using browsers—though it might just be a coincidence. My browser is always open, and I haven't noticed any freezing during gaming sessions. First I tried Edge, then Firefox, but the same issue persists. No error messages appear when it fails. Operating system: Windows 10 21H2, version 19044.1469, 64-bit. Recently installed processor: Ryzen 5600G. RAM: G-Skill Ripjaws 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4-3200 NVMe. SSD: WD SN750 SE 1TB. Case: Fractal Design. Let me know if you can help diagnose. Thanks, Ian.
Did you download the official chipset drivers from the maker's site or are you using the standard Windows drivers?
The solution was the same, and it's causing me a lot of frustration.
