I Managed to drop my phone today in school and my whole screen is black now with only a few blue pixels in the left corner. I looked at a few many youtube videos on how to get data like my contacts and my pictures from my phone, but nohting works. i have a samsung galaxy a7, so i got the old charging port(micro usb) that can't send display data. i tried Samsung dex, but the app just shows a exclemation mark after i plugged in my phone. i cant change any setting on my phone because i cant see anything on my phone. does anyone know a way of transfering data, that works with micro usb? this is a visual representation of how my screen look like:

You might swap out your screen, though it could be pricey. Connecting it to your computer will show you its intended functions. Choosing options like "Manage device as folder" lets you access files on your PC. Could this solution be viable?

It might indicate more serious issues beyond a simple screen problem.

The content there doesn’t seem worth enough to justify a new screen. I also can’t let my PC capture photos from my phone since I’m unsure of my location while clicking. Now I don’t even notice if the phone is on, because the blue pixels have disappeared too.

It’s being detected, though I believe the device is outdated and can’t handle the software. The micro USB connection might also be incompatible.
