The router has been acting up for roughly three months, often restarting unexpectedly. This causes big issues when playing games or attending online classes with sudden drops. Anyone have suggestions to fix this problem on a TP-Link Archer AC1200?

Random restarts often indicate the Wi‑Fi router can't handle your current traffic. An older upgrade might bring some improvements, but you can't change the router's hardware. The best fix is to install a stronger wireless router that matches your requirements.
