Hello. I recently set up my PC and everything worked fine until a few problems appeared. Once, some mods made the system freeze, forcing me to press the power button on the case to restart. After that, booting took much longer, so I decided to defragment the drive (?). Now the machine stays active even after shutdown, with fans running and lights on. It finally powered off while I was writing this, though it still shows about five minutes left before it stops. I didn’t want to disconnect because the slower boot times were concerning. Anyone know what could be causing this? Best regards, Aereldor.

Check for updates via the Start menu. Run a virus scan and consider restoring the system.

Consider trying to refresh your CMOS battery. Remove it for roughly 15 minutes while keeping the power source disconnected, then reinstall it and restore power.

Eventviewer seems to indicate your machine is about to power down rather than simply shutting off. It might suggest rooting the device and requiring a fresh installation.
