Device powers up, yet screen and USB connection are absent.
My computer became unusual last night. A USB driver was turned off because of a problem, which affected my headset and mouse. After uninstalling and reinstalling the driver through Device Manager, the issue disappeared, but USB devices started behaving oddly. I powered it off and fell asleep. When I woke up today, everything seemed normal except for my monitors—no display—and my keyboard didn’t light up at all (it usually does briefly when the system starts). The GPU lit up briefly, spun the fans for a second, then shut down completely. The machine stays on but the power LED turns red, shifts to orange after a few minutes, and then goes off again after a similar time. No USB signals, no motherboard or PSU issues detected. The motherboard power indicator stays on, but I can’t confirm anything since no display appears. RAM is working properly, but I haven’t managed to gather more details. Please note the specs: motherboard model, i7-7700k CPU, Corsair H100i PSU, Evga Supernova 750 G2, 8GB RAM, EVGA FTW3 2080, storage options, and a case with an NZXT H500i. This is my first post here, so I apologize if anything was missed.
I also attempted to replace the CMOS battery with a fresh one, but it didn’t resolve the issue. I plan to install a new PSU tomorrow and observe any differences.
The new PSU isn't working, so I'll likely replace the CPU and motherboard now because I don't know which part is causing the issue.
