Intel core i7 9th gen with Nvidia Gforce RTX 2060 and 16 GB RAM (probably). Had my laptop checked for overheating at a store. After an hour, it came back on but showed no display activity. Game warned it was using an Intel GPU—switched to Armory Crate and adjusted Nvidia Optimus settings. Black screen, still powered on. Plugged into neighbor’s TV but nothing happened. Tried projector mode and BIOS reset via ASUS site, but issue persists. Store refuses to acknowledge the problem.

It occurred to me yesterday only when you're able to. Unplug the battery connector from the back panel of your laptop—follow a YouTube tutorial if needed—and then turn it on.
