Details: Ryzen 9 7900x from Gigabyte B650I AORUS ULTRA Mini ITX AM5 board, G.Skill Trident Z5 RGB 32 GB (two 16 GB sticks), DDR5-6400 CL32 memory, 4090 FE. When the machine sleeps or I restart through Windows settings, it fails to display anything, though fans continue and RGB stays active. Only pressing the power button until silence and then again to power it up completes the boot. This problem has persisted for nearly a year, with no recent changes made. During troubleshooting, I noticed that if the PC is put to sleep and then restarted by pressing the power button, the BIOS menu appears as if it just shut down and restarted, but Windows reloads with all open apps. Holding the power button in BIOS mode causes the RGB to switch back to factory settings instead of my custom configurations, indicating the system isn’t booting Windows normally. Restarting from BIOS with default settings makes the RGB light up, but the PC doesn’t finish loading. Clearing CMOS didn’t help. Updating drivers, flashing the motherboard, or unplugging the PC to discharge power didn’t resolve it. Windows updates seem unrelated since restarting from BIOS still fails. Any advice or experiences from others would be valuable.
