I just set up Windows 10 Enterprise on my PC and now it frequently powers off during games or when idle. I've checked all the motherboard connections, but nothing seems to fix the issue.

Windows includes a tool named "Event Viewer." You should launch it each time your PC restarts to examine the logs. It has helped me numerous times, particularly with Windows Server. Another method is reviewing logs within your BIOS if available.

Sure, I’ll review it thoroughly tomorrow. I noticed the restart triggered several warnings about "COM," and I’ll share more detailed logs then. Thanks!

I asked about it to understand your choice better. It seems you're wondering if the update was necessary for your system.

You're looking for a fully uninstalled Windows setup. I tried Windows 11, but it became quite sluggish over time. The enterprise edition improved your gaming experience significantly, which is why you're considering a clean installation.

It would be helpful to list all your PC components. If there are compatibility issues leading to problems, we'll address them there. Otherwise, switching to a clean Windows 10/11 home or pro install seems ideal. I don’t know of an official method to obtain an Enterprise ISO outside volume licensing or trial, so I’m doubtful it’s a secure version.

I've attempted to fix Windows myself several times, either using version 11 or 10, but neither performs as well as the Enterprise edition for some reason. That's why I prefer sticking with what I have, though if a reinstall is the only option, I'll have to go through it.
