Hello, I've been using this PC since May 2020. Previously it had RAM problems that were fixed by replacing two of the four 16GB sticks. Recently, my computer started shutting down completely a few minutes after booting up and logging in. I've tried reseating the memory and reconfiguring the GPU multiple times. Eventually, it stopped randomly and I was able to use it normally until spring break when it began acting up again. I've searched extensively online for possible causes and solutions, but I'm still looking for more insight or alternatives. My system specs include: Asus Prime TRX40-Pro, AMD Ryzen Threadripper 3960X, AMD Radeon VII 16GB (16x2GB), Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 2x1TB, 970 EVO Plus SSDs, and a 750W Corsair power supply.
Event Viewer >> Windows Logs >> System Kernel-Power Failure errors shows what happened. You might want to refresh: Windows Updating your BIOS (latest on Jan 18, 2023) Installing the newest AMD chipset drivers from AMD (newest released Feb 28, 2023). If this fixes the stability problems, we can move on to the RAM issue.
