No output received for Advanced Startup or BIOS on the monitor. The screen stopped working more than a year ago. After that, I connected my Smart TV as an external display. I noticed the startup logo appeared and could access BIOS settings. I requested a repair under warranty, but they refused service due to a damaged key. They returned me a laptop with a faulty battery charger—my original was kept and sent back instead. They claimed the device wouldn’t function with any external monitor and mentioned some keys were broken. However, when I tried it again with a Smart TV, everything worked perfectly.

Recently, I upgraded to a new monitor and connected it via HDMI. I realized I had forgotten my password. I also confirmed there was no signal input during Advanced Startup or BIOS. Thinking it might be the new monitor, I attempted using the Smart TV again, but it didn’t help.

I’m stuck trying to access Advanced Setup to reset my Windows password, which I don’t remember. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. - I recall seeing BIOS and Advanced Startup on my Smart TV before, but now I can’t. I double-checked that it wasn’t in fast boot mode (used the same model as my roommate’s laptop), tried three different TVs, monitors, four HDMI cables, and DisplayPort connections.
