Updating my PC had been pending for a while, but today the new motherboard finally arrived. I got started assembling everything and turned on the power—fans kicked in, the graphics light lit up—but it didn’t show. I went through some fixes: reinserting RAM, reseating the CPU, checking the graphics card, swapping the power cords, and replacing the cooler from Master Master Liquid Lite 240. I thought maybe pressure issues were the problem. I also tried booting with just one RAM stick and without the graphics card to see if it would work. Now I’m stuck trying everything.
The motherboard information likely won't work with a 5600G from the start. An update might be necessary.
In short, they suggest you might need an older Ryzen processor to upgrade the BIOS settings.
I haven't updated the BIOS and I'm not sure how to do it. I thought the revision mentioned on their site was compatible, but I assumed it would work without needing any changes. Updating the BIOS usually requires a specific process that I don’t have access to, so I ended up getting a new motherboard instead.
The motherboard has likely been stored in a warehouse for several months. To refresh it, you’ll need a CPU compatible with the original BIOS from the 1000 or 2000 series. Visit a PC repair shop, bring it in, and request an update (they may charge a service fee) or send it back for a newer model.

Regarding FX processors, please specify which one you're interested in—avoid Bristol Ridge as it may cause issues during BIOS updates. Do you know anyone with a Ryzen 1000, 2000 or 3000 model who might let you borrow one for a short period to perform an update?
