I resolved the unusual issue with my laptop (Asus Zephyrus Ga502). It rarely reaches its maximum performance, making even basic activities like browsing slow and laggy. This wasn’t a problem when it first arrived. Unfortunately, I’m not sure what caused it. Additionally, when the PC operates in low-power mode, my Bluetooth mouse keeps disconnecting. It seems connected to the issue but I don’t understand the exact link. Occasionally, when the PC runs at full power and the fans get loud (which is normal), the mouse stays online and I have no power issues. I noticed something strange: once I started the Battle.net Launcher after being away from home with the laptop unplugged (using battery mode), it asked if my hardware had changed. Since then, this problem has persisted. I attempted to reinstall my GPU drivers and selected the dedicated NVIDIA GPU in the NVIDIA control panel for consistent use. I have the latest BIOS. Appreciate any advice you can offer.

Switchable GPU drivers are often not universal. I bet the Windows update replaced the original driver the machine came with, leaving only a less powerful GPU active now. Or perhaps you downloaded a driver from NVIDIA instead of the manufacturer’s site, which might have disabled the switchable feature.

I attempted to install the GPU driver from the official Asus site, but nothing changed. It seems like the issue isn't related to the GPU itself. The entire laptop feels sluggish, especially noticeable without any fans blowing heat. I still don’t understand why my mouse acts strangely when the laptop enters a low-power mode.

Your CPU is only running at 0.4Ghz, suggesting a cooling issue rather than a software problem. You might want to bring it to a repair shop for further inspection.
