Device not found on USB port...
I hope this fits the right group. My wife uses an HP Pavilion with an I5 TD01-1023W laptop that keeps showing a message about a USB device not being recognized. I've done everything possible to fix it—uninstalled drivers, updated them, cleaned ports, restarted, checked for updates, ran sfc and DISM, even tried a registry hack. Windows is up to date, and it still works even when nothing is connected to any USB port. If I remove the device, it reinstalls itself. There are no driver updates available. I'm getting really frustrated. Any suggestions?
