I own a laptop, an Acer Aspire VX 15, equipped with a 250 gigabyte NVMe SSD that came with it, and later added a 1TB HDD. While playing MSFS2020, my computer shut down unexpectedly. When I pressed the power button, it displayed "no bootable device found." I attempted to switch from UEFI to Legacy mode after reading online instructions, but encountered the error "press enter after inserting bootable device." Eventually, I booted into a Windows 10 installation USB and opened CMD. The disk listing in DISKPART only showed the USB drive and the HDD, not the SSD. I haven’t made any recent changes to my BIOS or installed anything new, though I’ve experienced occasional BSODs since installing VALORANT (possibly related to Vanguard). This situation is particularly stressful because I need to join online meetings. If anyone has insights on this issue, your guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. EDIT – Clarification: My laptop’s SSD is three years old, the HDD is over a year old, and it was just a month ago that I reinstalled Windows. The Startup Repair didn’t help, as my Windows drive isn’t detected in the BIOS. The most recent software I added was NETCUT for managing Wi-Fi networks.

However, drives often show signs of reduced speed before they completely fail. Your SSD was running smoothly and I wasn’t anticipating any issues during gameplay on the HDD.

An HDD yes, but SSDs tend to fail hard without warning.

Could you confirm if there are any potential issues to look out for? For backing up a large HDD, consider whether another HDD or cloud storage would be more suitable.

Another hard drive. The cloud remains a future option (many users struggle with slow upload speeds). Take the drive out of your laptop and plug it into another computer as a secondary storage device. See if you can access your files.

You're encountering an issue where nothing moves despite installing Valorant and Boot Camp, and you're seeing a "no boot device found" message. It might be worth checking your USB connections, ensuring the correct boot device is selected, or verifying that your system meets the requirements for installation.
