Device not found in system settings.
I'm trying to get my Canon 2000D recognized by Windows 10, but it keeps showing up as "not found" in Device Manager. I don't know how to fix this. Any advice or solutions? Thanks!
The camera identifies itself as being in transfer mode. Have you experimented with various USB connections?
It could be that the camera is malfunctioning. I attempted to reset its settings or used a different cable. Some budget USB cables lack all necessary pins for data transfer, making them suitable only for charging and not for sending information.
Occasionally, certain cameras struggle with image transfers. I rely on a USB card reader for this task. It's fairly affordable and I've consistently experienced no problems moving photos from the various Nikon models and the single Canon I've used throughout my collection.
