Device not detecting the USB port on Windows.
I built my PC and opened the Windows download page. I encountered an issue where the installer refused to create a new partition, which wasn’t the main concern. Recently, I realized my PC won’t boot into the Windows installer even when using the USB drive. I’ve already tried several fixes: unplugged and replugged the USB, changed the boot order (it no longer appears), and searched online but found nothing relevant to my situation.
There appears to be an issue with the Windows USB drive. Consider trying a fresh installation.
Do you own another computer or have access to one elsewhere? Have you tested using a different device via USB to determine if the problem lies there? It seems USB might be affected or damaged. Also, could you clarify what you meant by your original issue and its connection to this?
