I recently installed a new monitor after upgrading my computer several months ago, replacing the Asus VQ277Q1A with an LG 27GP95R-B. The mouse doesn't function in any fullscreen applications. My system specs include an Asus Tuf RTX 4090 Intel i9 13900k, Corsair 360mm AIO, Asus ROG strix Z790-E WiFi ATX, Corsair vengeance 32G DDR5-5600, a 2TB Samsung 980 Pro, and a 1200W power supply running Windows 11. After connecting the monitor and turning it on, everything seemed normal. However, when opening any application in fullscreen mode, the mouse disappeared entirely. I tested this in multiple games (Seiga, Battlefront, Cyberpunk, Doom) and apps like Excel, Word, and others, but the issue persists. I’m not technically an expert, but my PC had been stable for a month before this started, and the mouse problem only appeared after the monitor upgrade. I haven’t found any online references to this issue. Solutions I’ve tried include using both HDMI and display ports, ensuring the monitor was updated to the latest LG version, checking USB-C ports, and using a different mouse. None of these worked. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
