The two keyboards you owned were damaged—there was a burning smell and the keys wouldn’t respond—after connecting them via a USB-A to USB-C adapter from Apple. I’m using an MSI Summit E13 flip EVO A11MT. I checked online, but it looks like this problem hasn’t been reported by many users.
