I just updated the drivers again. The fire stick is working now. In tests 1 and 2 I saw some issues, like green lines and other distortions. The sky driver also crashed again, just like before it did at 199 fps, with the same screen problems. Here are the results—I'm going to sleep because it's 4 am and I need to be at a meeting at 8:30 am, but if something goes wrong, let a brother know now.
Reduce the level of detail in BF4. The issue occurred frequently on Ultra when I lowered graphics settings and hasn't happened again.
Sure, if I had purchased a premium card, I would have full access. I see that Sky Diver 3D Mark fails with the same issue. I haven’t updated the drivers, but Firestrike works with the latest ones. It’s strange since the borderland still functions properly in the pre sequel.
It looks like it's BF4, but the crash on 3Dmark Sky Diver makes me concerned. The card is only made in O.C., and I didn<|pad|> to do anything about it. Likely the drivers are the issue.
The GPU fan reported 0 RPM at one moment last night, which seems unusual. I recall the hardware and Afterburner indicating fans were active, and if they weren’t running, temperatures would rise. It didn’t change after I ran fire strike with hwmonitor open—GPU fans continued spinning normally.
