I've owned my PC for roughly 1 to 2 years, and suddenly my hard drive vanished. I checked all drive managers, refreshed every page, updated drivers, but nothing worked. Initially, boot time stretched from around 10 seconds to nearly 5 minutes. After switching Windows to an SSD, I realized most of my files on the hard drive disappeared and it stopped showing up. Still no idea what’s causing this—my power supply seems fine, and there are no visible motherboard issues. Could you help?

Hard drives fail. It clearly indicated they were nearing the end of their life. If your important files are at risk, disconnect it and take it to a data recovery specialist.
