Hello everyone, I own a Ryzen 7 2700 with an Asus TUF x570 Plus/BR and a 2x16Gb 3200MHz HyperX Fury. It has been working fine using the DHCP profile for some time. Recently, I purchased another RAM kit from the same brand and store. After installing it, the system stopped responding and kept rebooting. Eventually, it entered safe mode and allowed me to disable the DHCP profile, after which everything functioned properly (the 3000MHz profile also worked well). Looking online, someone mentioned a possible issue with the CPU memory controller, but since I added more RAM recently, I’m not sure that’s the cause. Do you have any experience with this situation?
It seems you're dealing with two separate concerns: 1. Your new memory isn't being recognized properly. You should refer to the vendor manual to confirm compatibility, as well as the required power and voltage specifications. If your GPU is strong but the system lacks sufficient power (like a low-power chip), you might be limited. 2. The DHCP functionality appears to reset during memory replacement or troubleshooting. The exact RAM model isn’t listed, but a closely matching version exists with comparable specifications. It doesn’t appear to be the issue. My GPU requires an 8-pin connection, and the power supply is solid (XPG Core Reactor 850W). Since the system doesn’t show faster DHCP profiles, that’s likely the reason.
