A few days back, my Dell Latitude E6530 wouldn't post even after installing new RAM. After turning it on, pressing the power button took about ten seconds before the fan started spinning and the internal LEDs began displaying codes. The HDD was blinking, the battery showed solid readings, and the network remained stable. I checked online and thought it might indicate a CPU failure. I then replaced it with a working one from eBay and the issue resolved. I'm still unsure what caused it but suspect the board or chipset might be the problem.
