Device fails to start Windows 10 installation.
Hi, I believe your motherboard might be faulty. I wanted to share my problem here before seeking help. One time I tried turning on the computer and saw a blinking underscore, but it didn’t boot into Windows 10. I think this points to a motherboard issue based on these details: - My main worry is that the motherboard won’t enter BIOS settings. I’d press the delete key repeatedly until it stays stuck, hoping it would activate eventually. - I’ve tested various components at home, but nothing worked—my SSD drive functions on another system and a different graphics card didn’t help. - I attempted booting with just one of the four RAM sticks, but it still didn’t succeed. - I left the computer idle for nearly six hours while you were away, hoping it would take a long time to start, but it didn’t. - I also tried connecting a Windows 10 installation drive, but that didn’t work either. - Here are my specifications: CPU – Intel Core i7-3820, GPU – EVGA NVIDIA GeForce GTX 950, RAM – 4x4GB Corsair Vengeance at 1600 MHz DDR3, Motherboard – Gigabyte GA-X79-UD5, SSD – GIGABYTE CC2700, PSU – Corsair AX-750. - Anyone have any advice? Thanks, Landon Q.
