Hey there, first-time builder! I recently started optimizing my 5 3600 after going through a lot of OC guides and even a video tailored for the 3rd gen Ryzen. I experienced some crashes during the process, which was expected but definitely part of tuning. My goal is to get back to stable gaming. After a few crashes (three total), I thought I’d be solid thanks to the 3D mark setting. But when I cleared my CMOS and tried to restart the next day, I still saw all cores at 4.2. This came through multiple monitors—Ryzen Master, NZXT Cam, and CPUID HWMonitor. Ryzen Master kept showing the OC mode as PBO even though the CMOS was cleared and double-checked. I also noticed my BIOS insists everything should be clocked to stock speeds, but all my monitors say otherwise. The only solutions people found online were to physically remove and reinstall the CPU or do a fresh Windows install—avoiding the registry changes would be nice. Also, some suggested saving registry settings in MOBO, which is an Asrock X570 Taichi. Thanks for your time and support, Mike!
