Device fails to receive input while attempting to enter low-power state.
The issue might be related to how the monitor communicates with the power-saving settings. When connected to the motherboard, the PC receives proper signals, but with the GPU, it doesn't detect the signal as expected. This could indicate a mismatch in communication protocols or power management configuration between the two interfaces.
Checking the system specifications. Is this a fresh installation or an older version where the issue began? Have you tested various GPU ports?
The system is two years old yet the GPU is brand new. It uses an i5 9600k processor, a Msi tomahawk z390 motherboard, and recently purchased an asus tuf 1660 ti. I've tested various Mobo ports, but the same error message appears every time the GPU connects to the monitor. When the GPU isn't connected, no message shows up on the screen.
I identified the issue. The PSU cable was defective. The GPU is functioning properly now.
