Device fails to power on and display of Windows is unavailable.
Hey! I’ve been here about a month ago with a PC that would only boot into BIOS. If I tried further, I’d see the motherboard logo screen (with a loading wheel), then the screen would go blank but the computer would stay powered on with all my RGB lights and fans running. So far I’ve checked – GPU works on another PC, RAM functions on another, installed Windows via NVMe on my spare PC, and swapped out the motherboards (still the same issue). The CPU seems to be dead. I’m wondering if this sounds like a common situation since online threads often say CPU failures are rare. The CPU is brand new and was just removed from the box a month ago for this build. The BIOS supports it. What do others think?
Start the system using just one RAM stick in the second CPU slot. IF THIS FAILS, switch to the other stick in the first slot from the CPU. If that works, test the remaining stick in the third slot. Then you'll find the first channel is faulty. Make sure to discharge the reset BIOS pins 10 seconds prior to installing the board in the case.
