Hello, I reached out this afternoon to try an Arduino Uno for the first time. In the software, I was learning about using a potentiometer. I connected it and uploaded the code, but noticed the 5V cable wasn’t fully inserted into the Arduino. After plugging it in, my PC connected via USB to the motherboard and failed to start. I reset the CPU, used a RAM stick only, and tried the paper clip method. The PSU fan spun about 20 degrees and an RGB light flashed, but nothing else happened. My board is an Aorus P750W with a Gigabyte B650M D3HP motherboard. Anyone have other suggestions? I bought it nearly a year ago, so I have warranty coverage, but I’m unsure if that applies to a return. Thanks in advance for any help—I’d appreciate it!

It doesn't begin everything without power. I attempt to boot using just a RAM stick and omit the GPU. My computer remains inactive.

Disconnect the main power cord, let it sit for 15-30 seconds, then reconnect. If the device doesn't turn on, the power source might be faulty or there could be a short circuit (such as damaged internal pins in a USB port), causing the system to cut power.
