I’m assembling my initial PC and it’s not starting. Bright flashes appear on the motherboard and the monitor shows no signal. The warning lights suggest issues with the CPU and memory, while the GPU has a red indicator. I’m trying to figure out what’s going wrong with these components.

I observed a delay of about 5 to 7 minutes before it started booting into BIOS.

Did you try both? Is your Gigabyte board an X variant? If not, do you know if it is likely to be old stock? If there is a high probability that it is old stock then I'd try to update the BIOS using flashback before you send it back.

I noticed the CPU fan headers aren’t connected, and the AIO fan heater isn’t plugged in. It seems the system won’t start unless a cooker is connected.
