I'm assisting a friend with their computer issue. It seems the system functions normally until it starts displaying only black screens. During a Discord call, they mentioned the monitor was on and the GPU was making loud noises. We've tried several solutions: updating drivers, reinstalling Windows, updating BIOS, testing different cables, using one or both monitors, running MSI Kombuster on the GPU, and even using onboard graphics. Despite these efforts, the problem persists, and I'm still unsure what might be causing it. I also checked for RAM issues, but wasn't sure how to identify them. They suggested asking if the computer could use its built-in graphics while the screen was black, but since they have a Ryzen CPU without onboard graphics, that option doesn't apply.
