I just relocated to a new house. After the move, my computer has been running smoothly. It hasn’t stopped or behaved strangely. When I moved my workspace to another room, I faced issues with it. I turn it on, then it powers off immediately and starts looping—on, off, on, off again. The only solution is shutting it down via the power switch on the PSU. It sometimes works for about half an hour before it goes into the loop once more. I’m thinking it might be a power supply problem, but I’m not sure. I’d like to confirm this before spending more money soon.
You might start the system by disabling the boot pins on your motherboard (just to eliminate possible issues that could prevent booting). If this succeeds, the problem may lie with your PC case connection or its replacement (this is likely the simplest solution). Do you have fast boot turned on in your BIOS? What is the age of your power supply unit? Its rating and model? You could also attempt to boot without the GPU installed to check if the GPU is the cause. Since your CPU includes integrated graphics, connecting directly to the motherboard should display a screen.
