Hi, your Asrock B450M Pro4 seems to be struggling with maintaining a stable 1 Gbps connection even after updating drivers. It appears the speed drops significantly once you switch to a different router or after changes. You might want to check the network settings in Windows, ensure the NIC is properly connected and not interfered with, and verify that your internet plan supports the speeds you expect. If the issue persists, consider contacting Asrock support for further assistance.

Is the router equipped with 1Gb/s Ethernet connections? Which cable brand can handle 1Gb/s speeds? What are the specific details about the router's model?

Have you tested various Ethernet cables to exclude a faulty one? Is your device linked directly to the modem/router? Remove any external devices such as routers, switches, and wall-mounted jacks, then inform us. The most effective method for fixing network issues is to remove all except the essential components needed for internet access, then gradually reintroduce each part until you identify the cause.
