3 days ago I prepared meals for my son using the microwave. The lights flashed rapidly, I assumed it was my blinking and continued. I returned to my room to edit audio for a project and discovered my PC had shut down. Sobi restored it, which caused the lights in my room to flicker too and smoke appeared. I powered everything off with my computer and monitor before investigating further. After identifying faulty wiring, I relocated the PC to another spot. When I pressed power, it started up normally. However, logging into Windows led to a blue screen repeatedly. The system would restart and return to the blue screen again. I considered replacing the power supply unit, which was brand new. I installed one and reconnected it, but the issue persisted. I attempted recovery, but Windows flagged my Microsoft password as incorrect, preventing repairs. After a fresh install, the PC booted normally, allowing me to reset the password and play games briefly. Yet, when I powered it off and restarted, it would repeatedly cycle through boot attempts without displaying the menu. What advice do you have?
