I'm just starting out with PC building and was assembling my brother's system. It worked fine until I enabled XMP and then turned it off later, which caused everything to stop. Now only the RAM lights up and the fans spin, but nothing else happens. I searched online and tried various fixes—changed CMOS, swapped motherboard, replaced RAM—but it still won't do anything beyond lighting the RAM. The screen stays black. I don’t have any specific details to share, but this is really frustrating.

Check through the igpu, confirm if removing the GPU is advisable first. Attempt a reboot even with a black screen appearing.

If both are not working, it might be your cable or the port on the monitor; try a new cable and/or a different port.
