You can now freely download the demo to build your own Sim. It offers a solid view of the graphical enhancements in the Sims themselves. The new version, which I created using the updated creation method, looks completely refreshed—hoping other parts of Sims 4 have followed suit. I dedicated about 20 minutes refining my Sim Say hello to Max.

For one reason I can't wear a shirt, whereas in the earlier games there was a "swimming" clothing area only for athletic wear.

And I'd be in agreement there. You can shape them however you like and direct their actions, but ultimately you can't influence their behavior.
