When RAM isn't fully utilized, I believe the problem lies elsewhere—likely a CPU with insufficient cores. Background processes and browsers slow things down when multiple cores are engaged. Consider upgrading to a 5700X3D over a 5800X for better performance as an FPS gamer.

Thanks for your response. Your plan to upgrade RAM is a smart move for future-proofing. Using 16 GB sticks with the same speed and latency as your current 8 GB setup should work well, especially if you stick to the same model and brand. Mixing different capacities isn’t usually a big issue, but ensure the total fits in your system’s slots and consider stability when combining multiple sticks.

Avoid using more than two sticks at once; it could stress the memory controller and slow down RAM. Get a 2x16 stick set and upgrade your existing one.

Your browser seems to be consuming a lot of resources, which might indicate an issue or inefficiency. It could be a sign of a problem that needs attention.

Rtzen 5600 supports four sticks smoothly without problems. Using the identical setup will keep performance stable at 3200. Your browser windows are open to many tabs, which is affecting speed. Things like videos and Instagram are draining resources. You might want to check what’s running in those tabs.

I typically have two social media accounts—Facebook and Twitter—and one learning tool, Google Sheets. I also use YouTube, with one tab for the main site and another for videos. The YouTube videos seem to be the most challenging among them.

The primary browser I rely on is Opera GX or Floorp. I’ve noticed it consumes roughly 1.4-1.8 GB of RAM and uses about 5-10% CPU when open. After reflection, it seems both factors are contributing to the issue, so perhaps upgrading my CPU and RAM would help.
