Hello, I’m looking into which component to upgrade next after switching from a Pentium G4560 to a Ryzen 5 1600 AF. The system already has Asus GTX 650 Ti Boost with 2GB RAM, DDR4 2400Mhz memory, no heatsink or RGB, dual-channel 2x4GB RAM sticks, and the rest of the hardware is from a known supplier. The power supply is a 750W silver Gigabyte B450M-H with Ryzen 3000 pre-installed. I have a 128GB WD green SSD, a 1TB WD blue HDD, and some case pieces. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Additionally, consider boosting the GPU since most systems with that CPU wouldn’t reach 750W or 8GB RAM, though it may still function adequately.
It's likely low quality. A PSU failure can destroy everything else in the system. RAM next because there's no point in buying a GPU this close to the release of the new ones.
Beyond just power rating, a PSU offers many other important features.
