I used 3600mhz without boosting the voltage and ended up returning to the BIOS because the overclock didn’t work.

What voltage base are you referring to? A common guideline is to begin with 0.07.

I own two distinct versions of Corsair LPX 3200. One uses SK Hynix M die and the other uses Samsung B die. Both handle 3200 smoothly using XMP settings, but the Hynix version doesn’t support any overclocking. The Samsung model can reach 3600, though it requires higher voltages up to 1.4v, which I believe Samsung struggles with at those levels for stability. Based on this, I think running it at 3200 is the best choice. That’s what I followed.
