For several months my gaming sessions kept failing unexpectedly. I spent time searching online forums for solutions, but the issue remained stubborn. Recently I replaced my motherboard and upgraded my CPU and GPU, yet crashes continued—either at start-up or during gameplay. Over the last two weeks I rebuilt the whole setup, starting from scratch about seven months ago. Initially I thought the power supply unit might be faulty since it was the last component I hadn’t prioritized. I upgraded from a Gigabyte 3070 to an NZXT 1200c, then moved on to RAM with error codes pointing to specific issues. I installed two 2GB SKILL 6000 modules and another pair of 4800 modules, but the memory problems persisted. I ran multiple diagnostics—Memtest86, Testmem5, OCCT, Windows memory checks—but still encountered errors. I suspected faulty PCIe slots, so I replaced them. Despite these efforts, the crashes continued. I also tried Windows updates and troubleshooting tools, but the core issue remained. Recently, after playing games in Fallujah, I noticed a new problem: my screen would go black randomly and my monitors would flash bright green. I thought it might be driver-related, so I booted in Safe Mode with no internet to reinstall the drivers. Even after changing versions and using the latest drivers, the issue lingered. I’ve also read about driver corruption affecting files, so I replaced my NVMe drive and reinstalled Windows 11. Still, the crashes persist. I’m seeking clarity—does this problem stem from my graphics card or CPU?
