Hi!
I have a potential solution I thought about sharing since many of you are dealing with this problem in Fortnite.
I've tried all sorts of fixes on my decent system, but nothing has worked until...
I started playing Fortnite and immediately noticed the issues.
The game was stuttering frequently, with FPS dropping from 300-400 to 80-120.
I opened Task Manager, checked the CPU tab, and selected all cores (usage).
One core was using 100% of its capacity without any reason.
The usage graph showed it staying at maximum constantly, which meant the game was preventing it from functioning properly.
It was clear this was the cause of the slowdowns.
I disabled the problematic core for Fortnite in CPU affinity settings.
The problem disappeared right away.
After a short pause, I re-enabled the core again.
The issue was resolved, and the game ran smoothly with other cores balanced.
I don’t understand why this happened, but it didn’t return after that.
It seems to be a bug or a game-related issue.
Hope this helps someone.

Hi -
Just read this post and got superexcited, rushed to my computer to see if it could be something like the issue you've had - as my stutters makes no sense to me either.
Heres what I found... Alarming...

Attempting this action results in "Access denied," even though I have admin privileges. It seems to be functioning normally on my personal computer, which is set up as the sole user with full rights. The issue appears to be elsewhere.
