Ive started playing destiny 2 lately, but there is something i dont like about it. I have bad fps even tho my pc should be able to run it smootlhy. SYSTEM:
ryzen 3 2200g (stock)
8gb ddr4 (stock)
Asrock a320m-hdv r3.0
XFX rx480 RS 4gb (stock)
CX500M
Now it should be able to play it on high settings smoothly, but when i play the only settings i can play on is Low. And even low settings i get fps-drops from like 60 to 30 in some areas. Im wondering if the game isnt well opimized or is it something else. Is it fixable? maybe some tweaking in the settings file or maybe something else.

It is functioning properly given your system specifications.

it should still function at least on medium settings with 60fps. maybe not the fastest, but it will work. if it maintained a steady 60fps even on low, i could play it there. as long as fps stays solid, but currently it drops and causes issues in some parts.

it shouldn't be this way, are you certain the game is being run on your iGPU?

I'm sure about it. I looked up some information online and discovered that people with similar hardware have experienced significant FPS issues in Destiny 2. They managed to resolve the problem by closing the Battle.net launcher after launching the game. Setting the settings higher resolved the issue completely. It appears the Battle.net app was consuming too much power while running in the background, which is unusual but has now been fixed.

the fps improved significantly from poor performance at low settings to solid 60fps at high settings. The Battle.net app seems to have some issues. On low settings I consistently got around 30-60fps, but once it was closed I could run it at high settings without dropping below 60fps, even in large areas or during intense gameplay like throwing grenades. It's surprising how inconsistent some launchers can be.

I don't think it's the game's issue, more likely the problem lies with Battle.net. If you keep the window open while playing, you experience huge FPS drops and stuff. But if you close it, it works fine and maintains steady 60fps.

Oooohh, I can even boost the settings from high to medium to top with a solid 60fps (anti-aliasing disabled). It looks like Battle.net is broken as hell.
