Destiny 2
Destiny 2
I admire the design; it’s a truly creative universe. The colors and textures blend seamlessly, giving it that sci-fi vibe. It’s the perfect game for me to share with my younger self—check it out and see what we’re experiencing together now.
I enjoyed the main story, but I’m not satisfied with the end game design. If you don’t have "friends," you’ll need to complete it solo or locate others on another platform. There should be a matchmaking or group search feature if you’re all by yourself and no one nearby.
They include a search feature on their Destiny Bungie site and the mobile app. While it isn't ideal, it's designed for casual players who don’t meet strict level requirements. The system often filters out those below the minimum level, but you usually satisfy the basic criteria set by Bungie. For example, if the boss mentioned a light level of 280, they’d say you can join unless you’re at least 290. This reminds me of my experience in Vault of Glass where I joined a hardmode raid with only max levels around 20, and it was unlocked to 30 after gear boosts. The required headpiece was only given to the final boss for reaching level 30, but most groups would decline because you weren’t at that exact level. Eventually, though, finding compatible groups through the finder helped me connect with others and make friends over time. Joining a clan can also ease these challenges.
