Your OS runs on a 64GB SSD (C disk) just for system use. Your 2TB E disk is used for downloads via Chrome so files don’t affect the SSD. When you save a downloaded picture to your desktop, it goes to the C disk. This should clear up any confusion. You’re using Windows 7.

These files are stored in desktop folders, such as My Documents, My Pictures, and My Videos. They’re typically located in a separate area on the main hard drive where Windows is installed.

Sure, you can store your photos on your E-Drive by changing the default save location in your photo manager settings.

I opened Chrome’s settings and created a new folder there. I just tried using a picture to test, and it became the default folder. Appreciate the assistance!
