You're using your old AIO as a monitor and the speakers aren't working, even though they appear in the system. The Inspiron 5477 is listed as an audio device, but no sound comes through.

Received a Ryzen-powered speaker that consistently failed; appears to be a design issue by Dell. But if you’re only using it as a monitor, I’d be happy to sell it and get a great display because these items have worth. For example, I sold a Dell 7775 for $1100 last year—my Ryzen 1700 RX580 model—and it had noticeable flaws on the back and sides (refurbished from Dell).

Seems like you were discussing an all-in-one liquid cooler with a display, some models now include screens.

What a price for that spec last year? That buyer was really clueless.

He had an item on eBay around 2020 costing about 500, and after two and a half years he earned money from it. It seemed like a quick online deal lasting just eight days.

Welp profit is profit ¯\_ (ツ)_/¯ Ebay or fb marketplace or some other classifieds site? Tried to sell my x58 based pc a year ago i built to profit but noone wanted to buy probs cause i chose an rx 580 as the gpu though i was selling on an online shop thats kinda similar to ebay but its local so maybe fb marketplace listing would have abit better luck? idk kinda uninterested in trying to build for profit now that im trying out forex and finding out that xauusd is actually pretty predictable in terms of price movement, the fact that i can just open an account with like 20$ and with abit of leverage turn that to 500$+ in a day and keep flipping that up just makes it seem kinda pointless to do anything else, its only been like 4 days but im seeing a decent amount of success with just buying xauusd at ~2030 ish and waiting for it to hit 2040+ which if i put a size of 1 gets me like 1000$, and im both buying and selling too early where i coulda waited abit for 2050 or even 2060+ and thatd be more like 2000 or 3000$ and i coulda waited for price to drop to the 2020s instead of buying in the 2030s Just now put a sell at 2060 just for shits and giggles and whaddaya know right after i put that sell order due to seeing strong downwards momentum market goes And boom 2060 -> 2052 and thatd be worth 800$ if i didnt just put 0.01 as the order (like 8$ now) just cause i did it for shits and giggles also predicting price to go down anyways cause its at 2060 no way its gonna go up again, btw you can just check xauusd for yourself and see what i mean Currently still using a demo account cause im not gonna throw 20-50$ down the drain cause im being a retard and put a fucking buy order at 2060 only for it to fall xD but now that i look at it i have like 150$ worth of pc parts i can sell now so theres like a few attempts worth of me using a 1:100 or 1:50 leverage account and turning 20/40$ into 500$+ Spoiler And to anyone else reading no i absolutely dont reccomend doing this unless you have cash to throw away and you can actually read the trends on the market, but if you do have cash to throw away and can read the trends of the market this might be a decent way to get some extra cash (alot of it too) i mean the only way i can make money rn is buying, fixing, and selling parts, very inconsistent and pisses me off to no end when a board commits suicide or has a random issue that isnt mentioned or pops up on its own (basically very irritating and mentally draining at times), no way in hell am i gonna get any decent amount of money doing this shit and thats pretty evident since its been like 3 years now so i might aswell give forex or crypto trading a chance, lose 20-50$ whatever itll just take me a week or 2 to recover, gain 500$+ and it goes up from there with adequate risk management (not gambling all the god damn money away if you are uncertain of where the markets gonna go), no more pissy dead boards to deal with unless i want to (ex a board i want but its broken and there arent any other boards like it for sale atm), and more time i can spend doing my hobby and more opportunities for other money making ventures that will be more stable cause i dont think its a good idea to have forex be the sole money maker considering how volatile it can be at times, so yea thats why im going this route as im not really gonna lose much if i lose and i can gain a ton if i win, also no responsibilities with my money which is the most important part cause if i lose all of it then no biggie And hey finally can get the pc hardware i want to buy test oc and do some trial by fire (like degradation testing) + probably a car or 2 cause im split between buying a heavy volvo (700/800) to convert into an awd wagon or an old lightweight ke70 to have fun on the twisties =p

It was likely due to the x58 model. But if you list it as a premium board, prices can stay above 100 for similar items. Staying dressed well is crucial for attracting buyers when selling PCs. The Dell also sold on eBay, local markets, and the FB marketplace.

I think about the ASUS Rampage boards but I’m not really into them because of the forced uncore. The memclk ratio means they won’t handle 3000+ DDR3 unless I tweak things or use something like LN2. Unless I really need a Giga X58A OC, I’m leaning toward the Evga X58 (X58 sli & ftw3) for around 50 dollars each. I don’t know if they’re good at clocking RAM speeds, but I’m hoping they are. The Foxconn Flaming Blade boards are also an option, though nothing’s available right now. I’m curious about bloodrage boards since they’re 1DPC and I’m not sure if I’ll ever see one for sale.

I’m also considering the Cycles boards, but they’re not selling well at the moment. The plastic sidepanel needs bending if I want to fit a 120mm tower, so it might not be the best fit. I’m thinking of turning this into a proper testbench because of its nice finish compared to the cheap cases I can find.

The X58A OC is down in value, so anything that isn’t a top-end model or an EVGA board would only be worth 30-40 dollars now. There’s even a Sabertooth X58 at 40 dollars, but it wasn’t in stock a few years ago. I’m hoping to find something flashier with decent prices lately—maybe a bunch of OLED rippers that are selling well.

The main downside is that this build doesn’t support 120mm towers properly, so the plastic panel will need to bend a bit. I might turn it into a testbench since it looks good.

I’ve got a P6X58DE for this project and bought it for about 45 dollars. It’s not a top-tier board, but it’s better than a cheap case I could buy. If I sell it now, it might only be worth 35 dollars with the Xeon, though it could go up a bit if I add some RAM.

I’m hoping to get more sales with the boards I already have, including a couple of X58A UDRs. I’m also eyeing an MSI Z87 with a restart issue and a Giga Z97 with a G3258 and 4GB RAM for around 15 dollars.

After selling some, I might run tests on a few boards and maybe boost their value to 40 or 45 dollars with a 6/12GB kit. I’m also thinking about reselling some as non-OCable boards, using OCable ones for higher speeds (like 2000-2800 MHz). If I can get some cash from crypto or Forex trades, I could test more RAM options and maybe even a Joule Thomson cryocooler for extreme cooling.

Overall, I’m looking for something that can handle 3000+ DDR3 and maybe a bit more, with flashy features or good value.
