Deleting Windows Off Old Drive
Deleting Windows Off Old Drive
I own an outdated HDD which was originally the C: drive in my previous PC but now resides on the D: drive. Since I didn’t clear the data before moving it, the drive is filling up (around 20 GB). The operating system occupies about 17 GB. The issue is that I can’t delete folders even though I’m the sole user.
The simplest approach is to format the entire drive. Otherwise, you must grant admin privileges or adjust file and folder permissions, which can become quite complex.
