I selected the option to manage all subfolders, and it has been active for some time. Was that the correct choice, or should I undo it?

I believe you're right. Figuring out how to get approval from everyone can be tricky.

I begin by checking with others, though I don't let it go. Always keep a copy before removing anything, since programs can save files unexpectedly.
