I really need a 10GbE LAN, which is why there aren't many motherboards that support it—just 2.5 and some 5GbE options. I prefer not to use network cards because the reviews for 10GbE aren't good; users say they're unreliable. That's why I'm opting for a built-in port. I hope 10GbE becomes more widespread in the coming years. I noticed Ubiquiti has released a few products today that can handle 10GbE.
