This situation unfolded first. I installed an i9 10900k with the specified components and updated the BIOS. The setup involved connecting the CPU and GPU, then turning everything off for a couple of seconds before powering it back on. After that, I noticed the system wouldn’t turn on at all. I removed all unnecessary wires and parts to ensure there was no power supply issue. The CPU was placed in a 4-pin socket, and I tried to clock it without the GPU. My concern was whether I might have overpowered the board, possibly damaging it. I checked the PSU and confirmed it works, and the NXT board also functions properly. Many believe the issue might be with the product at delivery, but I want to verify. If I receive a replacement motherboard, can I power it up with just the PSU and CPU, leaving RAM out to test if the CPU is the only component?
You need the CPU to function properly. Try resetting by clearing CMOS and taking the battery off the motherboard, then holding the power button for ten seconds. After that, the system should restart correctly. Once reset, just ensure the CPU and RAM are ready to boot. You can use only one power connector for the CPU, but using both won’t cause damage.
It seems the system isn't receiving any power at all, whether with or without the CPU or RAM.
As mentioned at the beginning, it stopped working two seconds after turning off, and it wouldn’t restart under any circumstances. The PSU has been tested.
